Develop and maintain a grants tracking database. Create SOPs to streamline grant-related financial processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and schedules. Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAS, and applicable state grant reporting regulations. Monitor grant budgets and analyze variances. Support the annual financial audit process. Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data. Lead charitable giving tracking and initiatives. Take on special projects as needed. Supervisory Scope: The position will initially be standalone with plans to grow as grant capacity expands. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience. Experience managing $3M in annual grants. Prior single audit experience required. Healthcare and/or public accounting experience is a plus. Skills & Tools: Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Experience with accounting software (Great Plains preferred). Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Interested in hearing more?
