The Platform Consultant on the Alternative Investments Business Acceleration Team is responsible for supporting business development, chief operating office, content, communications, experience and product pipeline activities within the Alternative investments (“Alts”) line of business in wealth management at Bank of America. The Platform Consultant will collaborate with partners, including sales, service, origination, platform, marketing, finance, legal, risk, compliance, and FinTechs, to support strategic initiatives. This person will assist with maintaining and monitoring performance measures and metrics to ensure execution of business plan and drive innovation. Additionally, this person is expected to assist with ensuring that business operations are consistent in supporting the client strategy and the broader business strategy. Lastly, this person will be critical in supporting an optimal client and advisor experience with Alts including maintenance and oversight of all Alts content and communications. The broader Alts team is responsible for sourcing and managing product selection and investment experience across alternative investments such as hedge funds, managed futures funds, private equity funds, and non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs). The products supported by the team are offered to suitable private clients across both the Merrill and BofA Private Bank distribution channels through both Financial Advisors (FAs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs). Responsibilities: Business Development - Support strategy and business planning across Alts; assist in analyzing product usage, advisor conversion trends, and competitive intelligence; contribute to quarterly business reviews and the Alts business plan - Build and refine executive ready decks (invitationals, offsites, leadership forums); coordinate seminars/events and leverage third party educational content; engage with industry/FinTech partners - Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Specialists, and Relationship Management teams to translate insights into adoption plays and measurable results Chief Operating Office - Coordinate Alts leadership forums and operating reviews (agenda, logistics, materials); track projects and SPI/process mapping; assist with policy/procedure documentation and audit/EIT/QA testing - Manage vendor interactions and oversight; system provisioning and guides; facilitate access approvals to resources - Assist with Client Journey, Operational Excellence, and Ops Resiliency initiatives Experience, Content & Communications - Maintain experience/enhancement communications and conference/technology forums; run stakeholder sessions - Partner on educational presentations/trainings; steward knowledge management, website, centralized resources maintenance and quality assurance; supervise communications and content posting - Oversee returns/performance quality assurance; maintain marketing e-mail templates, distributions groups, disclosures, and digital delivery adoption Product Pipeline - Track fund launch pipeline, timelines, and status changes; maintain signature pages and transactional templates; collaborate on investor tax summary letters - Liaise with fund administrators/transfer agents on technology build outs; configure investor specific questions and non standard fund terms (in partnership with product, ops, legal) Qualifications: 2–5 years in wealth/asset management, alternatives, product, or COO/program roles Strong analytical, technical, deck building, and stakeholder management skills High-proficiency in Copilot/Teams/Excel/Word/PowerPoint Bias for action, detail orientation, and ability to operate across matrixed teams under time bound deliverables Client first, results focused, and collaborative; able to simplify complexity and drive measurable adoption Comfortable operating in a highly regulated, enterprise environment with strong controls and audit discipline Clear communicator with the ability to produce executive ready materials and lead stakeholder sessions Experience with private markets (PE, credit, real assets), hedge strategies, and evergreen/perpetual structures preferred Skills: Attention to Detail Problem Solving Process Effectiveness Production Support Technical Troubleshooting Agile Practices Prioritization Release Management Research Usability Testing Adaptability Change Management Critical Thinking Planning Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details US - MA - Boston - 100 Federal St - 100 Federal St Lp (MA5100), US - NJ - Pennington - 1600 American Blvd - Hopewell Bldg 6 (NJ2600), US - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100) Pay and benefits information Pay range $94,500.00 - $145,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
