Design-Build services. With a national presence and a focus on
fast-track projects, we specialize in new commercial construction
for both public and private clients, particularly within the
Department of Defense sector. Our current projects span coast to
coast, including significant work at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base
in Georgia. Position Summary: We are looking to hire skilled
Mechanical and Piping Insulators in the future to join our
Mechanical team for ongoing work at King's Bay Naval Base, GA and
the surrounding area. All work is to be performed on the military
base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific
to the base. This role involves applying insulating materials to
mechanical systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain
temperature, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety
standards. Pay : $30-$45 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental,
Vision, 401K with match, 1 week of vacation and accrued sick time
Key Responsibilities Apply insulating materials to mechanical
systems, ductwork, and piping to control and maintain temperature
Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure efficiency
and safety Collaborate with team members to meet project milestones
and quality standards Adhere to all safety protocols and implement
best practices in support of RQ Construction's Mission, Vision, and
Values Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or
G.E.D. is the minimum education required Completion of a Union,
private (in-house), military, or trade school apprenticeship
program preferred 4 or more years of field or trade work experience
as a journey-level mechanical piping insulator in a commercial, or
facilities operations setting; government, military, or large
commercial construction experience preferred. Compensation &
