Job Description Job Description Primary Function Manages the
full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of
surveying projects for Ardurra. This includes managing all
activities related to project scope, schedule, cost, cash flow,
quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk elements
required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal
responsibility. The Project Manager’s overall objective is to build
and maintain a positive client relationship, and to achieve or
exceed the estimated profit margin for the project. Primary Duties:
• Provides support for Survey Technician sta?. • Provide technical
duties such as CAD drafting, preparing draft and ?nal Word
documents, generating reports, scanning, and ?ling. • Prepares
survey cost estimates and detailed proposals for survey projects. •
Review ?eld notes from ?eld survey, reduce and rectify raw data,
and process ?eld data. • Provide in-o?ce support to the department.
• Perform data entry, sort, and CAD drafting. • Pro?cient with
Ardurra’s standard CAD template. • Helps train and orient new sta?
with Ardurra’s drafting and CAD standards. • Assist in other
general technical support as needed. • Input and analyze data from
?eld survey work into AutoCAD/Civil3D or other database and
drafting or data processing systems. • Conducts periodic training
with o?ce and ?eld technician sta?. Read and analyze legal
descriptions from deeds and other records. • Plot parcel lines
based on metes and bounds descriptions, plats, and surveys. •
Prepare legal descriptions in Word.doc format. • Prepare Sketch and
Legal Descriptions. • Prepare surveys, plats, legal descriptions,
and reviews. • Assist with right-of-way, deed, or other records
research. • Collaborate with Surveyors, Engineers, and Technicians
as assigned or needed. • Participates in project meetings and
recurring project status meetings. • Reviews draft survey drawings
in preparation for submittal to client or review agencies. •
Responsible for signing and sealing surveys for which they are in
direct supervision and control. • Maintains continuing education as
required for licensure. • Membership and involvement in local
survey society chapter and organization is encouraged. Education
and Experience: • High School or equivalent required. Bachelor’s
degree in Geomatics or Engineering preferred. • Currently licensed
Professional Surveyor. • Meets all requirements for Surveyor II and
minimum of 2 years of experience as ProjectManager/Project
Surveyor. • Proficient with AutoCAD/Civil3D. • Basic Math including
addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. • Capable of
solving problems using Trigonometric and Geometric functions. •
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficient
with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam (or Adobe). • Ability to
work together with a team or individually. Must be team-oriented
and self-motivated Physical Demands: The physical demands described

successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

using a machete, shovel and sledgehammer or other appropriate
tools. Lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. over
rough terrain may be required. Hand-eye coordination is necessary
to operate various pieces of field equipment. While performing the
duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit, stand,
walk, use hands/fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools,
or controls, and reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. The
employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop,
kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell. Able to get in and out of vehicle
multiple times a day; drive 30 to 60 miles daily. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: The work environment

job. The employee works outside in all types of weather conditions,
possibly for extended periods of time. The terrain may be rough,
steep, wet or swampy. Vegetation may be dense, and insects, snakes
