Job Description Job Description Ardurra is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our staff in our Ocala, Florida office. This is a full-time position requiring at least 6 months of of AutoCAD experience or education in related field, a good attitude, and the ability to work with a team; survey field experience is considered a plus. Ardurra is one of the South's most trusted, experienced and nationally recognized engineering and consulting companies, is seeking an honest, capable and quali?ed Survey Technician candidate to join our Survey Team. Primary Function: Work under general supervision to provide technical support involving multiple office software, computer skills, record keeping, and general inquiries. Candidate will exercise excellent organizational and customer service skills. Survey Technicians may perform assignments of limited scope which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of survey related tasks. This may include limited experience in utilizing various computer software packages and automated surveying tools to perform survey calculations and field note reductions. Primary Duties: Provide general technical duties such as CAD drafting, preparing draft Word documents, generating reports, scanning, and filing Provide in-office support to the department Perform data entry, sort, and basic CAD drafting Use Ardurra’s standard CAD template Assist in other general technical support as needed Input and analyze data from field survey work into AutoCAD/Civil3D or other database and drafting or data processing systems Assist with legal description preparation and analysis Assist with preparation of surveys, plats, legal descriptions, and reviews Assist with right-of-way, deed, or other records research Collaborate with Surveyors, Engineers, Technicians as assigned or needed Education and Experience Requirements: High School or equivalent required Practical experience is not required however, candidate must have a general understanding of basic AutoCAD/Civil3D Basic Math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Bluebeam (or Adobe) Ability to work together with a team or individually.
