Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract Surgical Technologist for a local contract job in Jacksonville, Florida. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a surgical technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3X8:-7am-3pm. /n - Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures. /n - Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy. /n - Prepare patients for surgery as requested. /n - Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed. /n - Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques. /n - Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation. /n - Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed. /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program. /n - Preferred they hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). /n /n - BLS preferred (American Heart Association). /n - 3 months working as a CST./n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
