Job Description Job Description Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU ? Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring specialized neurological monitoring and treatment. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and complex neurological conditions Perform procedures, monitoring, and interventions as ordered by medical providers Accurately document all care and treatments in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and ongoing self-care strategies Promote patient and family engagement through clear communication and support Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and individualize patient care plans Participate in continuous process improvement and quality initiatives to advance clinical outcomes Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (higher-acuity experience strongly preferred; strong Med-Surg RNs will be considered) Education: Associate Degree required; BSN preferred Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Compact State RN license (compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA) – required within 30 days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 90 days of hire Ideal candidates demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and patient-centered outcomes. Position Details: Shifts Available: Days (Rotating Weekends) Nights (Rotating Weekends) Unit Size: 10 beds Environment: Supportive and collaborative Neuro ICU team committed to professional growth and evidence-based care Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $30.60 – $45.90 per hour (based on experience) Midpoint: $38.25 (approx. 8 years’ experience) Shift Differentials: Nights: $4.25/hr Weekends: $3.00/hr Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights) Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
