Services & Emphasizing Work-Life Balance Practice Overview: Located
on the main campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC),
Laurelwood (54 beds) provides a broad range of services for
adolescents and adults experiencing mental health or substance
abuse problems. Laurelwood offers a variety of treatment options
including: detoxification, inpatient treatment, day partial
treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and aftercare support.
Full-time hospital-based position Responsible for psychiatric
hospital based needs; including ED and floor. Tele-Psych support
for two smaller, system hospitals Schedule - 7on/7off ECT and TMS
coming soon. Follow inpatient hospital consults. Admit identified
Psychiatric patients to Laurelwood through "In-Take" area of ED. ED
volume – 130,000 visits per year Behavior Health Access Center next
to the ED sees 1,000 patients per month. EMR Platform - EPIC
