Lead Housekeeper -DAILY PAY OPTION AVAILABLE!!!The Lead Housekeeper is responsible to maintain a clean and odor free atmosphere at Coquina Center in all public areas and resident accommodations, and is responsible to maintain a clean, odor free, and safe environment. To provide immediate oversight to Housekeeping, Laundry and Floor Tech staff.RESPONSIBILITIES of the Lead Housekeeper:

• Responsible for cleaning resident rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning resident bathrooms.
• Responsible for cleaning the spa area.
• Responsible for cleaning the clean utility rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning the soiled utility rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning the clean storage room.
• Responsible for cleaning the clean linen room.
• Report any needed repairs to Supervisor.
• The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for scheduling of the housekeeping and laundry department to cover all shifts.
• Responsible for scheduling floor tech personnel to cover all shifts.
• Responsible for checking behind staff to ensure work is being completed.
• The Lead Housekeeper makes recommendations to Director for evaluations, disciplinary actions and areas of improvement of environmental staff.
• Make suggestions for changes in procedure and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.
• Checks supplies and inventory and informs supervisor when low.
• Inspects and coordinates cleaning in procedures and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.
• The Lead Housekeeper makes suggestion for changes in procedures and/or equipment to maintain high standards and safe working conditions.QUALIFICATIONS for the Lead Housekeeper position:
  • Long-term care or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Management skills preferred. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES for the Lead Housekeeper position:
    • This position has supervisory responsibilities of the housekeeping, laundry and floor tech staff, but reports to the Director of Facilities Management.
