consumption and emissions.The role reports to the Mfg Engineering
Manager and is located in Ormond Beach, Florida. As a Machinist -
Tool & Die 2, you will be performing machining operations on a
variety of machines to make parts to specification. Design, build
and assemble jigs, fixtures, gauges and machines with pneumatics
and hydraulics. Develop skills in die preventative maintenance,
repair, design and build. Carries out assigned tasks by performing
the following duties.Your responsibilitiesReads and interprets,
sketches and Blue Prints, layouts, diagrams, written changes and
verbal instructions to gain correct information to perform
machining operations.Makes new or replacement parts for equipment
molds and toolingVerifies dimensions, alignments and
clearances.Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, Mills
and Surface Grinder Lifts machined parts and positions and secures
parts on surface plate or worktable. Mate, fit and tram, flat and
contoured surfaces, plus assembles parts together and into
assemblies and mechanisms.Examines standard or previously used
dies, tools and jigs and fixtures and recommends design
modifications regarding construction and function of part.Develops
specifications from general descriptions for specialty tools and
die draws or sketches design of product.May assist in supervision
and training of other team members, specifically the tool room
level 1's.Maintains a clean safe work environment.Performs other
duties as assigned or requested.Your backgroundHigh School Diploma
or GED.3 years' experience as a Tool Room Machinist, conventional
or CNC.Experience making or repairing Molds, Power press dies and
punches, Creating replacement machine parts from samples.CNC
programming and setup experience is highly desirable.Ability to
read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Must be able to read
and interpret blueprints, diagrams and other various sketches.Must
be proficient with the use of measuring tools.Candidates must
already have a work authorization that would permit them to work
