QualificationsI. BASIC FUNCTION: Support PCMC's hallmarks of
service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities
- Under the general direction of the Controller, maintains
financial reports, statistics, and records. Handles accounts
payables, and processing check requests. Provides administrative
assistance to include, but is not limited to maintaining filing
systems, generating reports, preparing mailings, typing, and
ordering supplies. Strong attention to detail, a solid
understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Consistently deliver the best in customer service and patient

- Champion PCMC's mission, vision and values; comply with the
policies and procedures, ethical standards and code of conduct set
forth by the company
- C. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense
entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- D. Assists with preparation and processing of monthly journal
entries, verifies financial statements, ledgers and accounts for
accuracy and makes corrections as necessary.
- E. Prepare monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
including documentation to support balances.
- F. Supports month-end and year-end close process.
- G. Assists with preparation of all reports required to submit
Annual, Semi-annual, and quarterly reports to include, but not
limited to External Audits, Medicare Cost Report, AHCA Report,
etc.
- Proactively review and provide data analysis and financial
impact assessments to support hospital operations
- Performs Account Analysis and Variance Explanations for
specific Income Statement Accounts when necessary.
- Prepares and analyzes monthly MORs as part of the accounting
team.
- C. Prepares reports/documents for internal and external
audits.
- Responsible for verifying Accounts Payable coding is correct
and assists other departments with A/P processes
- E. Assists with preparation of all reports required to submit
Annual, Semi-annual, and quarterly reports to include, but not
limited to External Audits, Medicare Cost Report, AHCA Report,
etc.
- Supports Controller with all major financial projects during
the year
- Assists with annual hospital wide physical inventory
- Assists with other duties within the department as needed
- Assists with SOX audits and testing
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting, maintenance, and
reporting

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Education: Bachelor Degree - Major in Accounting or related
field, preferred but will substitute minimum five years general
accounting experienceExperience: 0-2 years accounting
experienceLicensure, Certification, and/orRegistration:Other
Minimum Qualifications: Ability to create and use computer
spreadsheet programs; Ability to analyze and solve problems;
understanding of each general ledger account and computer system to
ensure hospital/departmental policies are being enforced; knowledge
of payroll and accounts payable responsibilitiesThis role requires
