Associate ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT This Associate position presents
a valuable opportunity to obtain licensure, gain knowledge in
property and casualty insurance, enhance your skills, and further
your career within the insurance industry. As an Associate, you
will engage in study and preparation for the state insurance
licensing examination. Upon obtaining your license, you will assist
in generating Property & Casualty sales by supporting ongoing
prospecting and lead generation efforts. You will learn to leverage
branch networking and partnerships across VyStar Insurance Agency's
diverse range of product offerings while ensuring insurance
offerings comply with the requirements set by carriers, sales
centers, and regulatory authorities. This position provides an
opportunity to enhance your skills in driving sales transactions to
contribute to the profitability of the VyStar Insurance Agency
(VIA). ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Sales and Business Development
Assist in developing strategies to identify new internal and
external sales opportunities. Help build and maintain relationships
with VIA members and non- members. Support efforts to ensure
customer satisfaction, promoting renewals and referrals. Learn to
cross-sell and grow VIA’s overall book of business through various
product offerings. Consultative Service and Problem Solving
Participate in assessing customer needs and delivering consultative
services through supportive problem-solving. Utilize available
resources to provide quality and tailored solutions in a timely
manner. Gain skills in presenting product options that address the
requirements of both members and non-members, including enhanced
coverage alternatives. Sales Channels and Cross- Selling Identify
opportunities to sell and cross-sell both personal and commercial
insurance products under the guidance of experienced team members.
Employ telephone, text, and email communication to assist in
facilitating sales efforts. Provide timely and effective follow-up
on inquiries from both members and non- members to help secure new
business and maintain existing policies. Relationship Building
Assist in providing comprehensive information to members and
non-members about all VIA products and services. Learn to develop
strong relationships that foster satisfaction, loyalty, and a
connection to the VyStar brand. All employees and business units,
as first line of defense, are expected to proactively help
identify, assess, manage, and report risks within their domain of
work. To enhance a healthy risk culture and support our growth for
good pillar, employees will maintain vigilance in safeguarding our
operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates. The
Risk team serves as the second line of defense by providing risk
oversight and credible challenge whereas the Audit team serves as
the third line of defense by providing risk assurance. Incumbent is
expected to demonstrate each of the following VyStar Excellence

necessary follow-up actions. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION High school
diploma or equivalent is required; pursuing a college degree is
preferred. Computer Skills Basic proficiency in MS Office products
(Outlook, Word, and Excel) and other related computer applications.
Familiarity with Agency Management systems is a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS Currently pursuing or holds an active State Property
& Casualty license (2044 Personal Lines License preferred).
EXPERIENCE Basic experience with personal lines; commercial
experience is a plus. General knowledge of insurance operations,
terminology, and objectives is advantageous. Commitment to
continuous education to maintain any designations/certifications
and insurance-related licenses. This support agent position offers
