Job Description Job Description Job Summary : Provides mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families and facilitates groups within the community to children and adults. Minimum Qualifications : Education: Masters degree in Social Work , Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited college or university Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Florida (LMHC, LCSW or LMFT) Primary Job Functions: Provide in person and telehealth counseling services to individuals, children, couples, families and groups. Maintain client files (to include biopsychosocials, assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries) in accordance with program standards, including Medicaid. Prepare reports and documentation to remain compliant with contracts (funding streams). Provide professional case consultation to professionals involved in client’s case. Adhere to monthly billable productivity requirements based on position held Refer clients to appropriate community resources and organizations. Works cooperatively as part of a team Maintain an electronic calendar of scheduled appointments Provide training to parents, teachers and staff (workshops, speaking engagements and tv) as needed. Adhere to credentialing ethical standards and guidelines Complete other duties as assigned. Periodic Job Functions: Attend professional training. Community Outreach Provide testimony or documentation for court hearings regarding clinical observations (as requested) Other Requirements: Clear a Level II background screening. Clear a substance abuse screen. Provide a copy of educational attainment to your first day of employment. Clear a Motor Vehicles Records check.
