Job Description Job Description Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (32081) Job Type: Contract (6 Weeks) Role Type: Interim Assignment Pay Rate: $28/hr Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and dependable Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for a 6-week interim contract assignment in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This role supports diagnostic imaging services by performing radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable stepping into a short-term clinical role. Schedule & Assignment Details Assignment Duration: 6 Weeks Role Type: Interim / Short-Term Coverage Duties & Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper shielding during imaging procedures Operate and maintain radiographic equipment while adhering to radiation safety standards Verify patient identity and exam orders prior to performing procedures Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records in the electronic health record (EHR) or PACS system Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging results Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment Follow infection control, HIPAA, and organizational policies at all times Support overall imaging department workflow during the interim assignment Required Qualifications Previous experience working as a Radiologic Technologist Knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques Familiarity with imaging systems and EHR/PACS platforms Strong understanding of radiation safety practices Skills & Competencies Attention to detail and commitment to image quality Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt quickly in a short-term, interim role Team-oriented with a professional and dependable work ethic Effective time management in a clinical environment For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
